Respected Madam,
In continuation of our Association letter No. CHQ/Exam./2011 dated 28.03.2011 (Copy enclosed), it is brought to your kind notice that as per para 3 of above referred letter, Inspectors of Posts with 5 years regular service in the grade as on 01.01 2010 are eligible to appear for the examination. It may please be clarified whether vacancies have been calculated up to the year 2010. If, vacancies up to the year 2011 have been calculated then all Inspectors of Posts with 5 years regular service as on 01.01.2011 be allowed to appear in the ensuing examination.
It appears from para 5 of letter ibid that Question Papers for said examination (other than the Paragraph writing & current affairs) will be set within the ambit of the various Postal Manuals which are made available on the Indiapost Website/various instructions issued by the Department from time to time/ approved reference books notified in the enclosed modified syllabus. It is understood from the above that no deviation will be made in setting the Question Papers and questions will be from the Postal Manuals appearing on the Indiapost Website.
As per modified syllabus, Paper –I will be based on three subjects but it has not clarified that how many questions will be asked on these three subjects and what will be marks allocation. Further, how many marks have been allocated for Paragraph writing. If, these points are clarified, the aspirants will have the clear picture in their mind and they will make their preparation for the examination accordingly.
It is humbly requested to kindly intervene and cause for necessary clarification on the points mentioned above.
