All the orders relating to GDS issued by the Department of Posts up to 31.12.2010 are included in the book. Headings and sub-headings of each Chapter with page number is given as index for easy and ready reference. It is most authoritative than any other book on GDS available. The memo number and date of each ruling is given. No such exhaustive compilation on GDS is available now. This book serves not only as a reference book in the day to day functioning but also as a real weapon in the hands of union activists and Gramin Dak Sewaks.
