1. Central Working Committee meeting. 

    Meeting will be held on 16th and 17th December, 2010 at Panchal Bhawan, Near Shakti Dwar, Main Gate of Ambaji Temble, AMBAJI Dist. Banaskantha (Gujrat). All Circle Secretairies and CHQ Office Bearers are cordially invited to attend the same. 

2. Revision of Grade Pay to the cadre of Inspector, Posts. 

    File is still pending in the Estt. division of the Postal Directorate. REcruitment Rules of Supdt. in CBEC have been procured by the G. S. Efforts are being made to procure Recruitment Rules of Income Tax Officers in CBDT. On receipt of it, both REcruitment Rules will be submitted to the Department for further processing of the case. 

3. Result of PS Group 'B' Examination.

    Due to illness of the ADG (DE), it is expected to be announced by the end of 1st week of January, 2011. 

4. PS Gr. B DPC for the year 2010. 

    DPC was held on 12/11/2010 and 140 Officers promoted to PS Gr. B. List already circulated by Postal Directorate. All Circle Secretaries are requested to remain in touch with their Circles to ensure joining of all promoted officers by 31/12/2010 in order to get increment on 01/07/2011. 

5. Outsourcing of Examinations.

    It is likely to finalised by January, 2011. Thereafter, all examinations are likely to be conducted Objective Type. 

6. Revision of FSC for the Sub Divisions.

    File has been sent to MOF. Concurrence from Finance Ministry is still awaited. 

7. Revision of rates of remuneration for performing duty as Invigilators in the examinations.

    CHQ has addresed to D.G.Posts on the subject on 1/11/2010 which was also published on the website. Matter is under active consideration in the Postal Directorate. 

8. Deputation of ASPs and IPs to the Department. 

    Postal Directoate has called for applications for deputtion of ASPs and IPs to the Department. Circle Secretaries are requested to send advance copy of interested ASPs and IPs to the CHQ for pursuing their cases with the Postal Directorate. 

9. Result of Inspector, Posts Examination 2009. 

    It  has been declared on 5/11/2010. 

10. Allocation of Direct Recruit Inspectors of Posts - SSC Examination, 2008. 

    37 Femal + 233 Male canddidates have been allocated to various Postal Circles by the Postal Directorate vide No. 7-26/2010-SPB-II dated 27/10/2010.
