In
pursuance of Circle Office, Mumbai Memo No. STA/6-8/2015 dated 02-03-2015 and 17-03-2015, approval of
the competent authority is hereby conveyed for posting of following officers on their allotment to
Mumbai Region on regular promotion to Asstt. Superintendent of Posts Cadre (
GCS Group B- Gazettted) in the scale of pay of Rs.9300-34800 with Grade pay of
Rs.4600/- in PB-2 with effect from the date of assumption of charge and until
further orders.

The Unit Head is requested to ensure that no
disciplinary / vigilance case is pending
/contemplated against the official and not undergoing any punishment such as stoppage of the increments, reduction to lower stage
of pay/grade etc. such case may be
intimated to this office immediately and the official should not be relieved
for their promotional posts.
The
official on promotion shall exercise option for fixation of pay within one
month as per the extent orders on the subject.
The option once exercised shall be final.
The
Divisional Head concerned will relieve the official within 15 days failing
which it will be presumed that the official is not interest in promotion and
his/her name will be deleted and his/her case will not be considered for
promotion for one year. In such case,
the unit head will forward his declination of promotion letter (unconditional
declination letter from the individual) to this office within one month from
the date of issue of this Memo positively for further disposal.
Any
request from the official for change in allotment / posting will not be
entertained he/she joins his/her promotional post. The official should be relieved under office
arrangement and directed to join his/her new posting immediately.
The
official at the time of his/her relief should submit his/her self
appraisal in the prescribed form to
his/her Unit Head or to the controlling authority. Similarly , the reporting officer will also
write the ACRs of the officials within the stipulated time and forward the CRs
to the new office only after the ACRs are reviewed by the Reviewing Officer.
