Direct recruitment of Postal Assistant /Sorting Assistant in Maharashtra Circle.

 Applications are invited from eligible Applicants for filling of vacancies of PA/SA

1. Scale of Pay : 5200-20200 with grade pay of Rs 2400+ admissible allowance.
2.Age Limit : OC 18-27 years, SC/ST relaxable up to 5 years and 3 years for OBC
3.Educational Qualification : 10+2 Standard or 12 th Class with at least 60 %marks  and above from any recognized /Board of school Education,English as Compulsory subject for OC candidate, 55% for OBC and 45% for SC/ST.
4. Pattern of Examination : The Applicants shall be subjected to an Aptitude Test with total 100 marks .
5. Computer /Typing test - The typing test will be and test of data entry operations will be conducted on computer key board .
6.Applicants numbering five times the number  of vacancies in each category shall be declared qualified for appearing Computer/ Typing test based on the marks secured by them in Aptitude Test .
7. Cost of application Form- The Application form is sold at price of Rs 50/- and sale will be through All Head Post offices and identified Post offices in the Circles.last date for sale closes on 25.09.2012.there will be no sale after 25.09.2012.
8. Examination Fee : Rs 200/- All Female and SC/ST /Physically Handicapped Categories are exempted from payment of Examination Fee.
