Few Glimpses National Postal Week Felicitation.

A day merely survived is no cause for celebration. We are not here to fritter away our precious hours when we have the ability to accomplish so much by making a slight change in our routine. This was the theme for celebrating “National Postal Week” this year.  We had decided to celebrate “National Postal Week” in an unique way and on a grand scale to reach out to people to showcase and popularize our various products and services. The celebration of “National Postal Week” this year was entirely different. We celebrated“National Postal Week 2013”, a week of Togetherness.

Some of the key factors for sustained growth of Maharashtra Circle is consistentlyeducating, motivating, monitoring and periodically rewarding the Postal Staff. With this view, I decided to facilitate each group of my colleagues. Shri S B Vyavahare, APMG (PSR) was one of them. A soft spoken and ever smiling Shri S B Vyavahare tackles each unforeseen situation with ease and success. His skill to look at the situation with positive frame of mind that helps him fight on different fronts at the same time such as Union activities, Press and Media, Staff matters and hospitality of the Circle.

With a view to acknowledge the excellent service of Group A, B, ASP and IPs, Shri S B Vyavahare, APMG (PSR) was felicitated by taking him on dais on 15.10.2013 as Chief Guest. With his felicitation, my appreciation and acknowledgment goes to over 1000 Group A, B Officers and their feeder cadre IPs/APSs working in Maharashtra Circle. Here are some glimpses of the function, in which Shri S B Vyavahare was honoured on 15.10.2013.

Here are some glimpses of the function, in which Shri Mangesh Sakpal was honoured on 15.10.2013.

World Post Day and National Postal Week 2013

As per Directorate D.O. letter No.18-50/2011-BD & MD dtd 24.09.2013 circulated vide C.O. letter No.Tech/20-16/2013 dated 26.09.2013, 9th October is celebrated as "World Post Day"all over the world. In India, World Post Day is celebrated as part of National Postal Week which would commence this year on 9th October and would end on 15th October, 2013.
