DPC : JTS Gr. A for the year 2016-17 updates.....

In response to RTI application dated 26-9-2017 made by Mr. Jayantha Kumar M. of Karnataka, reply given by Directorate under Memo No. 24-71/2017-SPG dated 25-10-2017 is as under.

1) Last JTS Gr. A DPC was held on 17-12-2015 for 36 vacancies.

2) 12 IPoS candidates joined in JTS Gr. A cadre against the vacancies of 2016 and they are undergoing required training at RAKNPA Ghaziabad.

3) 23 vacancies for promotion through DPC for JTS Gr. A cadre are declared for the year 2016-17. Vacancies for the year 2017-18 are not calculated.

4) JTS Gr. A DPC is pending in view of non finalization of matter of reservation in promotion and treatment of SC/ST candidates promoted on their own merit in CP (C) No. 314/2016 in SLP (C) No. 4831/2012-Samta Andolan Samiti through its President Vs Sanjay Kothari & others.

Information from AP / Bihar / Delhi / Gujarat / Karnataka /Rajasthan / Tamil Nadu / Uttarakhand and West Bengal circle yet to reach at Directorate. File is to be sent to UPSC for giving the date to convene the DPC for the vacancy year 2016-17. Hence, all officers working in above circles are once again requested to ensure submission of required and requisite information to the Directorate within two days and inform to GS.

GS is requesting all members since 12/2/2016 to ensure submission of information called for by Directorate, but till date there is no progress as expected and therefore issue is badly delayed.

Tentative Zone for consideration for JTS DPC for the vacancy year 2016-17

Directorate has called for the ACRs of following 156 PS Gr. B officers for the period from 2009-10 to 2014-15 for convening DPC for promotion to the cadre of JTS Gr. A for the vacancy year 2016-17. All circles are allotted target date to complete the ACRs and its for

malities and handover at Directorate in person.

DPC : JTS Gr. A cadre for the year 2015-16.....updates

As on date few officers missisng APARs are not reached at Directorate and therefore file is not sent to UPSC for ascertaining the date for holding of DPC.

Expected vacancy position as per retirement/death during the period from 1/4/2015 to 31/3/2016 would be as under :

DPC : JTS Gr. A cadre for the vacancy year 2015-16

As you know that the proposal for JTS DPC for the vacancy year 2015-16 is under process at Directorate for submission to UPSC. It is learnt that APARs of following officers who are in the Zone of Consideration for promotion to JTS Gr. A cadre for the vacancy year 2015-16 are missing. The details of such wanting APARs are mentioned against their names.

It is requested to all Circle Secretaries, CHQ office bearers and members working in RO/CO to meet the circle administration in person and ensure the submission of requisite documents to Directorate immediately. Request the circle administration to send original APARs duly completed in all request to Directorate. If APARs are not available, No Report Certificate (NRC) with justified reasons may be sent to Directorate.

GS Desk.....Repatriation of PS Gr. B officers to their parent circle.

It is confirmed from Directorate that, repatriation of PS Gr. B officers (who are presently working in other circles) to their parent circle will be issued in the first week of next month.

JTS Gr. 'A' DPC file is under process with UPSC.

Recently General Secretary visited Shillong, Guwahati and Kolkotta. During his visit he met with Circle Secretaries of these Circles and discussed the issues / problems related to our cadre. GS also visited to PTC Guwahati and met with all the Members, Dy. Director and heard their problems, grievances etc. & assured that the problems will be taken up with the concerned authority.
